Structure

The main component is a part of drug: betamethasone Dipropionas.

Additional components: nipagin, vaseline, paraffin, propylene glycol, a liquid paraffin, the alcohol, wax emulsifying salt disodium, sodium sulfite and the purified water.

Release form

Akriderm in the form of the cream or ointment packaged in tubas on 15 or 30 g is issued.

Pharmacological action

Drug shows antiinflammatory, antiallergic, anti-exudative, antiedematous and antipruritic effect.

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

This means is a glucocorticosteroid of topical administration. Its main substance – betamethasone Dipropionas – is capable to slow down accumulation of leukocytes, process of release of lizosomalny enzymes, and also antiinflammatory mediators on an inflammation site. Besides, there is a phagocytosis oppression, decrease in vascular and fabric permeability, interfering with emergence of inflammatory puffiness.

• various allergic diseases of integuments, for example: dermatitis, neurodermatitises, skin itch, eczema;
• psoriasis;
• different forms of not allergic dermatitis.

Contraindications

Akriderm is not recommended to apply cream or ointment at:

• hypersensitivity to drug;
• tuberculosis cutis;
• skin displays of syphilis;
• to chicken pox;
• herpes simplex;
• skin postvaccinal reactions;
• open wounds;
• lactations;
• children's age about one year;
• trophic ulcers;
• vulgar eels.

Side effects

External use of GKS can be followed by burning, irritation, dryness of integuments, a folliculitis, a hypertrichosis, emergence of an acne, hypopigmentation, dermatitis. Long drawing, especially under occlusive bandages, can become the reason of development of purpura, maceration of skin, consecutive infection, a heat rash, an atrophy of a skin surface and so on.
