Structure

Drops nasal contain 0,5 mg on ml of active agent budesonid.

Act as additional components: thiourea, propylene glycol, nipazol, poly(ethylene oxide), Trilonum of B, acid the benzoic and amber, clear water.

Release form

Benarin is issued in the form of nasal drops, spray.

Pharmacological action

Glucocorticosteroid.

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

Active ingredient – budesonid. Makes antiallergenic and antiinflammatory impact.

The principle of action is based on strengthening of development of a lipokortin — A2 phospholipase inhibitor that leads to decrease in production of arachidonic acid, oppression of process of synthesizing of prostaglandins and endoperoxides which are products of a metabolism of arachidonic acid.

Benarin reduces the speed of processes of granulation and an infiltration, slows down migration of macrophages, inhibits chemotaxis substance forming, reduces products of cytokines, reduces inflammatory exudation, prevents forming of regional accumulation of neutrophils.

Under the influence of a budesonid release of mediators of an inflammation from mast cells decreases that slows down development of chronic rhinitis and a chain of allergic reactions.

At prolonged use Benarin is well had, does not possess resorptive action.

The significant therapeutic effect forms in 1-3 weeks.

Indications to use

Benarin is shown at allergic rhinitis (year-round and seasonal options of a current).

Spray Benarin is applied at inflammatory processes in a nasal cavity of noninfectious genesis, to prevention of growth of polyps in a nasal cavity, is effective at vasculomotor rhinitis.

Contraindications

Benarin do not appoint at a pulmonary tuberculosis, viral, fungal and bacterial damages of respiratory system.

Budesonid is not applied at fresh injuries of a nose, in the acute period after surgical interventions on a nasal cavity, at pregnancy, at chest feeding, in pediatric practice before achievement of age of majority.

Side effects

Drug use Benarin can be followed by irritation of a mucous membrane in a nasal cavity, a burning sensation, an itch.

Development of bleeding, allergic reactions, a headache, irritation in a throat, sneezing, dizzinesses is possible.

Seldom the ulceration, a mucosal atrophy, increase of intraocular pressure, a conjunctiva hyperemia, perforation of a nasal partition, dispepsichesky frustration, cough, the increased drowsiness, a mialgiya, vomiting, growth delay, throat candidiasis, candidiasis of a nasal cavity, a nose congestion, a cardiopalmus, a gastralgia is registered.

Benarin, application instruction (Way and dosage)

Spray Benarin: on 2 injections (totally 100 mkg) in each nasal course, twice a day. A maintenance therapy – on 1 dose twice a day, or a double dose in the morning.

Drops Benarin: on 2-3 drops (50-150 mkg) to dig in in each nasal course. A day no more than 400 mkg. A therapy course till 3 months. At the admission of a dose drug is used in the shortest possible time, the planned dose has to come to an organism not earlier, than in an hour.

Overdose

At overdose the syndrome of Kushinga, acne rash, a dysmenorrhea forms.

Gradual decrease in drug doses Benarin is recommended.

Interaction

Ketokonazol, estrogen and methandrostenolone increase Benarin's efficiency.

Rifampicin, phenobarbital and Phenytoinum – reduce efficiency of drug.
