The main active ingredient — a betagistina dihydrochloride.

Auxiliary components:

  • sodium of a kroskarmelloz;

Release form

  • Tablets ploskotsilindrichesky a round form of white color with the put marking with the indication of a dose of active agent (8 mg).
  • Tablets oblong biconvex with the rounded edges with the marking applied on a surface designating a dose of content of active agent – 16 and 24 mg, respectively.

Pharmacological action

Betagistin is the analog of a histamine created by a synthetic method. Generally active agent of drug is capable to involve histamine N-1i N-3 receptors (weak and strong antagonists) of TsNS. In this case receptors of an inner ear and vestibular nuclei mean.

Betagistina dihydrochloride influences a blood stream, stimulating microcirculation and permeability of capillaries of an inner ear. Besides, active ingredient of this drug stabilizes endolymph pressure in a snail and a labyrinth.

Thanks to the fact that Betagistin in fact is N-3 inhibitor of receptors of kernels of a vestibular mechanism this drug renders pronounced effect on TsNS, stabilizing neyronalny transmission in neurons of a vestibular nucleus.

Betagistin at the correct reception is capable to neutralize symptoms of vestibular dizziness very quickly.  The period of influence of active agent of this drug makes of several minutes till 24 o'clock.
