Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

Medicine is applied locally and makes antiinflammatory and venoskleroziruyushchy impacts. A scope – a proctology. Heparin strengthens regeneration of connecting fabric, warns blood coagulation to hemorrhoidal nodes, interferes with a thrombogenesis, has antiedematous effect. Thanks to heparin the number of recurrence considerably decreases. Influencing an endothelium of vessels, heparin interferes with forming of hypostasis, stable fibrinous blood clot.

Prednisolonum is a glucocorticosteroid of a synthetic origin and reduces activity of mediators of an inflammation (lizosomalny enzymes, prostaglandins, kinin and a histamine). Thanks to vasopressor effect decrease in exudation is reached, expressiveness of allergic reaction decreases (as a result of suppression of cytokines and macrophages). Lidocaine provides the local anesthetizing influence which is reached by blockade of natrium, voltazhzavisimy channels that leads to decrease in development of impulses.

Indications to use

Drug is appointed at fistulas, proctal cracks, eczema, the itch in anorectal area caused by inflammatory process. The application instruction of Gepazolon is recommended to apply candles at thrombophlebitis of the hemorrhoidal veins located in a perianal zone.

At hemorrhoids (operated, thrombosed) drug is appointed as a part of complex therapy.

Medicine is appointed before surgical treatment of diseases of anorectal area.

Contraindications

Ointment Gepazolon is contraindicated at infectious, fungal, virus and tubercular infections of an anorectal zone. The medicine is not appointed at functional disturbance of work of coagulant system of blood because of risk of rectal bleeding.

Candles Gepazolon are contraindicated at intolerance of heparin, lidocaine and Prednisolonum.

Medicine Gepazolon is not used in pediatrics (age restriction – 12 years).

At pregnancy, breastfeeding ointment Gepazolon is contraindicated.

Side effects

Endocrine system: development of an Icenco-Cushing syndrome, functional oppression of adrenal glands, development of a "steroid" diabetes mellitus, decrease in sensitivity to glucose.

Cardiovascular system: the changes on the electrocardiogram indicating a hypopotassemia, arrhythmias, increase of indicators of a blood pressure, bradycardia.

Nervous system: dizzinesses, sleep disorders as sleeplessness.

Metabolism: the strengthened sweating, removal of calcium from an organism, forming of a hypocalcemia.

All above described side effects are caused by effect of Prednisolonum (glucocorticosteroid) and are shown at treatment by a medicine more than 5 weeks.

Treatment of internal hemorrhoids: Gepazolon enters candles daily 1-2 times into a rectum cavity.

Treatment of outside hemorrhoids: to enter suppository into an anus so that the basis of a candle was probed outside. Before full thawing of suppository it is recommended to hold area of an anus with a gauze napkin within 3 minutes. Otherwise the therapeutic effect is not reached because of suppository "provalivaniye" in a rectum cavity.

Therapy duration – 1 week. Treatment can be prolonged about 2 weeks if necessary.

Ointment is applied if hemorrhoidal nodes already fell out. In this case they need to be greased to 3 times a day.

Overdose

Unpleasant side effects are possible.
