Release form

Pharmacodynamics

Drug with the antiinflammatory and anesthetizing action. Hyaluronic acid is necessary for process of forming of proteoglycans in a cartilage of joints and maintenance of elasticity and viscosity of synovial fluid.

The osteoarthrosis is followed by a shortcoming and changes of qualitative composition of hyaluronic acid in a cartilage and synovial fluid. Use of drug in the presence of degenerative changes of a surface of a cartilage and change of composition of synovial fluid provides improvement of function of a joint and a clinical current of an osteoarthrosis.

Pharmacokinetics

At intra joint introduction within 2–3 days hyaluronic acid is removed from synovial fluid. The maximum concentration of hyaluronic acid is noted in a joint capsule and synovial fluid, in smaller volumes — in a synovial membrane, adjacent muscles and sheaves. The metabolism occurs in a liver and circumarticular fabrics, drug with urine is removed.

Indications to use

In complex treatment of an osteoarthrosis and degenerative posttraumatic changes of joints and improvements of their mobility, stopping of joint pains.

Contraindications

High sensitivity to drug, the period of pregnancy and a lactation, a disease of a liver, injury of skin or existence of an infection in the field of an injection.

Side effects

In rare instances emergence of moderate morbidity and hypostasis of a joint, increase in exudate, reddening in an injection site of drug and temperature increase. More rare — local allergic reactions to drug.

Gialgan of Pheidias, application instruction (Way and dosage)

Intra joint administration of drug by a standard technique taking into account anatomic features in a dose — 20 mg / 2 ml (one filled syringe) once a week, only 5 injections.

Overdose

There are no data.

Interaction

Gialgan Pheidias cannot be entered into a joint together with other injections in a joint. It is impossible to use disinfectants which part ammonium salts as these substances besiege hyaluronic acid are.
