Release form

In pharmaceutical booths pharmaceutical drug enjoys wide popularity therefore it can be found in so wide list of forms of release:

  • Peroral suspension on 100 ml in glass bottles from orange glass. Medicinal liquid of orange color with a characteristic orange smell and sweet taste with a little burning, easily notable smack. By gravity internally contents of a bottle can be divided into a layer and a deposit therefore before use of drug it is necessary to mix components to homogeneous suspension. In cardboard packaging there is 1 bottle in a complex with the special measured device with a scale.
  • Ibufenum D is a suspension for oral use in plastic bottles on 120 ml (concentration of active component corresponds that in a usual form of Ibufenum – 100 mg of the Ibuprofen on 5 ml of solution). In a packaging set, in addition to actually capacity with medicinal liquid, the special syringe doser in number of 1 piece is located.
  • Ibufenum Forte is the strengthened form of pharmaceutical drug in the form of peroral suspension. Concentration of active ingredient is increased to 200 mg by each 5 ml of medicinal liquid. The bottle in which solution is located is expected 100 ml. In cardboard packaging there is 1 bottle with pharmaceutical means.
  • Ibufenum Ultra, as well as Ibufenum Forte, is the strengthened pharmaceutical form of medicine in addition enriched with active components to mass part in 200 mg. However such form of drug in gelatinous capsules of an oval form which has a translucent cover of blue color is delivered (internally contents represent viscous liquid). In a plate from PVDH, PVH or aluminum foil 10 capsules are fixed. In cardboard packaging 1 or 2 planimetric blisters are located.
  • Ibufenum for children is delivered in the form of soft capsules (traditional tablets) on 200 mg everyone. Tablets in blisters on 10 or 20 pieces are located. Planimetric cell plates are packed into cardboard boxes with an obligatory mark that Ibufenum children's.

Pharmacological action

Ibufenum is classified as nonsteroid antiinflammatory pharmaceutical drug which possesses analgeziruyushchy and febrifugal properties.

To active components of medicine the ibuprofen is. The mechanism of its action lies in cyclooxygenase enzyme oppression which play an important role in the course of a metabolism of arachidonic acid that leads to reduction of synthesis of prostaglandins. In response to these influences, intensity of inflammatory process as prostaglandins are local mediators of this pathological process decreases. Body temperature as it is prevented exciting influences of the temperature center of a brain is normalized, and generation of painful impulses in nervous trunks from the pathophysiological center of a disease decreases.

Analgeziruyushchy properties of the operating component also partly it is connected with reduction of production of prostaglandins of the classes E, F, I. Supplements the decrease in concentration of biogenic amines and change of sensitivity of receptors of nociceptive system given action. Soothing influence of medicine at inflammatory pathology when the amount of all listed substances increases at the expense of a disturbing factor is most expressed.

Febrifugal and analgeziruyushchy action develops much quicker, than antiinflammatory as on stopping of these pathological manifestations smaller doses of pharmaceutical drug are required. Oppression of inflammatory processes is observed only for 5-7 day of conservative sanitation of pathophysiological process.

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

Medicine is used orally. More than 80 percent of active components are soaked up from a digestive tract. Time of achievement of plasma concentration depends on meal: on an empty stomach the maximum quantity of active ingredients in blood is observed in 45 minutes, and after food – only in 1,5-2,5 hours. In a circulatory bed components of pharmaceutical drug are capable to contact proteins of plasma (mainly with albumine) approximately for 90 percent that rather long span allows them to circulate in an organism.

Active ingredients get into a joint cavity slowly – the maximum concentration in synovial fluid is reached in 2-3 hours after use of pharmaceutical drug, however can be late in this physiological environment of an organism more for a long time, than in a blood plasma.

Medicine mainly in a liver is metabolized, being exposed before and a post to system processing. After absorption of the most part of drug (about 60 percent) the inactive R-form of the Ibuprofen in the pharmacological plan is transformed to an active S-form under the influence of internal factors of an organism.

60-90 percent of the accepted dose are removed by means of kidneys in the form of products of an exchange with glucuronic acid. To a lesser extent pharmaceutical drug is emitted with bile and only 1 percent in an invariable look. The kinetics of an ibuprofen is two-phase by the nature, and the elimination half-life makes 2-2,5 hours. The single dose is completely allocated from an organism within 24 hours. The effect of Ibufenum as antipyretic, develops in 30 minutes after administration of drug and proceeds about 6-8 hours, depending on individual indicators of a metabolism.

Indications to use

The ibuprofen, the main active ingredient of pharmaceutical drug, possesses a wide range of pharmacological action therefore it can be used doubly. First of all, scope of medicine covers febrifugal abilities and it is appointed in the following situations:

Also Ibufenum can use as an anesthetic at such morbid conditions as:

  • dentagra (including caused by inflammatory processes);
  • headache and migraines;
  • neuralgia;
  • algodismenoreya;
  • muscle and joints pains (juvenile or chronic, gouty or psoriasis arthritis, the osteochondrosis ankylosing a spondylarthritis – Bekhterev's illness, damage of joints at a system lupus erythematosus and so on);
  • neuralgic amyotrophy – Personeydzha-Turner's illness;
  • teething, followed by pain;
  • at any injuries, thermal and electric burns.

  • the increased individual sensitivity acquired or hereditary intolerance to compound components of pharmaceutical drug and an ibuprofen in particular;
  • aspirinovy triad ("aspirinovy asthma") – simultaneous development of a bronchospasm, the small tortoiseshell and allergic rhinitis at treatment not by narcotic anesthetics;
  • disturbance of absorption of carbohydrates as glyukozo-galaktozny malabsorption or deficit glyukozo-6-defosfatdegidrogenazy;
  • Round ulcer of a duodenum or stomach;
  • tendency to frequent hemorrhages;
  • disturbance of system of plasma or platelet coagulation (including such hereditary pathologies as hemophilia and syndrome of hypocoagulation);
  • hemorrhagic diathesis;
  • organic lesions of a liver or kidneys in heavy stages of development of pathological process;
  • third trimester of pregnancy;
  • the expressed heart failure (especially in a dekompensirovanny stage);
  • arterial hypertension;
  • Quincke's disease of Quincke;
  • polypostural growths in a nasal cavity;
  • in pediatric department drug is used only after achievement of age in 6 months and body weight more than 7 kg.

Also there is a number of states when use of medicine is recommended only under supervision of the qualified medical personnel and regular diagnostic analyses (for example, during stationary therapy in the relevant institution):

  • ulcer colitis;
  • illness Krone;
  • dehydration and eksikoz;
  • chronic diseases of a liver, kidneys or heart;
  • if data on the postponed peptic ulcer of a stomach or a duodenum, a recent operative measure occur in the anamnesis of life of the patient.

Side effects

At conservative treatment the following undesirable effects can be observed by Ibufenum:

Application instruction of Ibufenum (Way and dosage)

The instruction on Ibufenum Forte, Ibufenum D, as well as on simple Ibufenum says that the average single dose for adults makes 5-10 mg on 1 kg of body weight with repetition 3-4 times during the day. The maximum daily quantity of the accepted drug should not exceed 30 mg on 1 kg of weight of the patient. The course of conservative therapy is appointed in an individual order by the attending physician as it has to be coordinated with indications to treatment and regular diagnostic indicators of an organism.

In pediatric practice syrup for children Ibufenum on which instruction orders a strict dosage of pharmaceutical drug proceeding from age and the body weight of the child (for children who eat firm food, syrup can be replaced with tablets therefore the amount of the accepted substance is specified in ml and in mg, depending on a medicine form) is used:

  • From 6 months to 1 year weighing 7-9 kg – 2,5 ml (50 mg) 3 times in 24 hours taking into account the maximum daily concentration which makes 7,5 ml (150 mg).
  • 1-3 years and mass of the child of 10-15 kg – the same quantity, as well as in an age category from 6 months to one year, but 3-4 times a day and the maximum quantity of drug can reach 10 ml (200 mg).
  • At the age of 3-6 flyings and weighing patient of 16-20 kg – the accepted dose increases to 5 ml (100 mg) 4 times a day at the maximum quantity of medicine – 20 ml (400 mg).
  • 9-12 years and weight from 31 to 41 kg – children's syrup are applied in number of 10 ml (200 mg) 3 times a day with an extreme dosage in 30 ml (600 mg).
  • At age 12 years are more senior and it is authorized to body weight more than 41 kg to use 10 ml (200 mg). Children's drug is used already 4 times a day. At the same time the maximum daily dose makes 40 ml (800 mg).

It is necessary to apply children's Ibufenum on which instruction is stated above periodically, each 6 or 8 hours.

At overdose medicine notes the following symptoms of the increased concentration of active components of drug:

  • abdominal pains;
  • nausea and vomiting;
  • block of reaction;
  • sonitus;
  • depression;
  • disturbances of a sleep pattern and wakefulness;
  • metabolic acidosis;
  • hemorrhagic diathesis;
  • arterial hypotension;
  • acute renal failure;
  • arrhythmias as tachycardias or bradikardiya, depending on individual predisposition to change of a rhythm of cardiac performance;
  • fibrillation of auricles;
  • spasms;
  • apnoea;
  • coma (this adverse effect of treatment is especially characteristic of children of an age category till 5 flyings).

The specific pharmacological analog for Ibufenum does not exist. At manifestation of symptoms of overdose symptomatic therapy is used. Such actions as are shown:

  • gastric lavage;
  • correction of an acid-base condition of an organism;
  • purpose of enterosorbents led by absorbent carbon;
  • alkaline food;
  • correction of arterial pressure (depending on its level and a rhythm of cordial activity).

It is not necessary to combine use of Ibufenum with other pharmaceutical drugs of this group as acetylsalicylic acid, the making component of the majority not of steroid anti-inflammatory drugs, reduces therapeutic action and strengthens a possibility of development of side effects.

Simultaneous use of diuretics against Ibufenum is also not recommended. At their interaction the medical effect of diuretic drugs decreases and the risk of development of a renal failure increases.

Medicine weakens action of antihypertensives, especially pharmaceutical drugs, the mechanism influence of which on arterial pressure consists in oppression of an angiotensin-converting enzyme or influence on beta and adrenergic receptors. Simultaneous with that their allocation by kidneys decreases that at long therapy by these drugs can lead to overdose or more active manifestation of side effect.

Ibufenum strengthens action of a number of medicinal substances:

  • the peroral hypoglycemic means applied at a diabetes mellitus (especially chemical derivatives of a sulfonilmochevina and insulin);
  • fibrinolitik and antiagregant (the risk of development of hemorrhagic complications considerably increases);
  • indirect anticoagulants (which mechanism of therapeutic influences depends on impact on beloksinteziruyushchy function of a liver);
  • toxic influences of the Methotrexate and drugs of lithium;
  • increases plasma concentration of Digoxin (drug possesses ability to cumulation therefore such pharmacokinetic influence by all means will lead to heavy overdose).

Ibufenum D, as well as other pharmaceutical forms of drug, is metabolized preferential in a liver therefore the cycle of its exchange of a considerable image is influenced by inductors and inhibitors of a microsomal oxidation. Such drugs as Fenition, Tricyclic antidepressants, Ethanol, Barbiturates, Phenylbutazone, Ziksorin, Rifampicin increase products of hydroxylated active metabolites that is shown in increase of risk of development of hepatotoxic complications. Inhibitors of mikosomalny oxidation work antithetically.

Caffeine strengthens analgeziruyushchy effect of an ibuprofen.

Terms of sale

Drug is in free sale, that is it is possible to buy it in a drugstore without the certified receptor form.

Storage conditions

Pharmaceutical drug should be stored in the place protected from light and unavailable to children at temperature condition from 15 to 25 degrees Celsius.

Period of validity

3 years (a period of validity after the first opening of a bottle for medicine in the form of syrup – 6 months).

Special instructions

By gravity the making components of medicine can be divided into superficially floating layers and a deposit at a bottom therefore before each use of drug it is necessary to shake up a bottle before receiving homogeneous suspension.

At a long course of drug treatment nonsteroid against inflammatory means can cause gradual injuries of a mucous membrane of a stomach from the outcome in a round ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding. Therefore regular carrying out diagnostic analyses of an acid condition of gastric and intestinal juice is recommended.

Pharmaceutical drug contains sugar therefore patients with a diabetes mellitus should take it with caution.

Analogs of Ibufenum make whole groups of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs which, as well as the main component of this medicine, inhibit enzyme cyclooxygenase and brake products of prostaglandins. Most often therapeutic action is replaced with the Nurofen therefore at pharmaceutical forums the logical question is set.

That it is better: Ibufenum or Nurofen?

Proceeding from indications and side effects of both medicines, it is possible to tell safely that the question is categorically not correct. The nurofen is stronger pharmaceutical drug therefore it is used in critical situations and a serious illness. So, for example, its use is more proved at a pseudorheumatism, the deforming osteoarthrosis or an ankylosing spondylarthritis.

Ibufenum, thanks to excipients and accurately picked up concentration of an active component, possesses soft action. To its thicket appoint at catarrhal diseases, flu or acute respiratory pathology as drug has smaller quantity of side effects, and antiinflammatory action develops only for 5-7 days of a conservative course of treatment. Also It should be noted that Ibufenum is much more often used in pediatric practice.
