Structure

In 1 ml of solution — a meldony dihydrate of 100 mg.

In 1 capsule — a meldoniya of 250 mg or 500 mg. Magnesium stearate, potato starch, silicon dioxide — as excipients.

Release form

• capsules of 500 mg and 250 mg;

Pharmacological action

Anti-ischemic, cardioprotective (improves a metabolism and power supply of a myocardium).

Pharmacodynamics

Has cardioprotective effect, besides membranostabiliziruyushchy and immunotropny. Limits the speed of synthesis of a carnitine from a γ-butyrobetaine that attracts disturbance of transport of fatty acids in a mitochondrion. Under the influence of drug the level of a γ-butyrobetaine which strengthens formation of an oxide of nitrogen that attracts reduction of OPSS and a vazodilatation increases.

Meldony reduces ability of thrombocytes to aggregation and improves elasticity of membranes of erythrocytes. In the conditions of ischemia prevents disturbance of transport of ATP. At ischemic damage of a cardiac muscle slows down formation of a zone of a necrosis. At heart failure increases contractility of a myocardium and reduces quantity of attacks of stenocardia. It is effective at pathology of vessels of an eyeground. Increases working capacity. Eliminates disturbances of a nervous system at patients with an alcoholism.

Pharmacokinetics

It is well soaked up at intake. Bioavailability at such way of introduction of 78% and 100% at intravenous administration. Cmax is defined in blood by 1-2 h. It is metabolized with formation of two metabolites, they are removed by kidneys in not changed look.

Indications to use

Complex therapy:

• ISCHEMIC HEART DISEASE;

Meldony, application instruction (Way and dosage)

Capsules Meldony-Mick accept inside and in connection with a possibility of exciting effect they are recommended to be accepted in the morning. The dose and frequency rate of reception are selected individually.

At cardiological diseases — 500 mg-1000 of mg a day. Treatment lasts till 6 weeks.

At disturbances of cerebral circulation — 500 mg once a day, a course of 4-6 weeks.

At an abstinence syndrome — 500 mg 4 times a day.

At physical overworks — 250 mg 4 times a day, a course of 14 days.

Solution for injections

Usually the dose makes 0,5-1 g a day daily. The drug is administered on 10 ml 0,9% of NaCl solution.

Unstable stenocardia, state after the postponed myocardial infarction — enter in/in struyno 1–2 ampoules (500–1000 mg) 4 days in a row once a day. Stable stenocardia: dosage and frequency rate same introductions.

Parabulbarno is entered by 0,5 ml of solution.

Overdose

Drug is a little toxic and cases of overdose do not meet or meet extremely seldom. Development of hypotension, tachycardia, headache, dizziness and the general weakness is theoretically possible. The symptomatic treatment is carried out.

Interaction

Strengthens action of hypotensive, anti-anginal means, cardiac glycosides.

The combination to anti-anginal drugs, anticoagulants, antiarrhytmic means and diuretics is possible.

At simultaneous use with Nitroglycerine, alpha adrenoblockers, Nifedipine, peripheral vazodilatator there is a probability of emergence of tachycardia and arterial hypotension.

Not to apply along with the other drugs containing meldoniya.
