Menopause

The menopause represents complete cessation of periods at women which result from oppression of work of ovaries. It is possible to speak about full approach of a menopause when passed not less than a year from the date of the last periods. The menopause has several periods, the first of them is characterized by an irregular cycle, up to a postmenopause which begins in a year after its termination. The climacteric is one of names of a menopause and premenopauza. In spite of the fact that this process is normal in essence, its course sometimes happens pathological that bears in itself big discomfort for the woman.

This period in life of the woman can come as owing to the natural, and artificial reasons. The first is connected with the fact that to a certain age in ovaries the quantity of follicles is reduced, and as a result in general comes to an end. Early approach of a menopause the age of 40-45 years, an average – 45-55, and late – after 55 flyings is considered. When periods come to an end till 40 flyings, exhaustion of ovaries usually takes place. Medicinal or radiative effects, and also surgical removal of ovaries are the reason of an artificial menopause.

Approach of a menopause affects work of all female organism, especially those its bodies and systems which depend on estrogen, it is possible to carry mammary glands, an urinogenital and nervous system, bones, skin to them.

Symptoms of approach of a menopause

  • Inflow of heat occur at 80% of women in the menopause period. Night perspiration, a sleep disorder are also connected with such inflow. They can from lungs to pronounced, and also repeated or single.
  • Changes in a nervous system and hormonal background lead to frequent changes of mood, dizzinesses, sleep disorders, even approach of a depression is possible.

Treatment of symptoms

Most of women do not feel strong discomfort during a menopause and after it, but there are also various deviations.

Doctors consider as the most effective treatment of the above-stated symptoms replacement hormonal therapy, using estrogen which shortage leads to certain changes in an organism. Such drugs are issued in the form of plasters, candles, tablets, ointments. Also during a menopause it is recommended to consume necessary amount of liquid, to refuse smoking, to carry out physical exercises, to exclude alcohol and hot dishes. Some nutritionists even recommend to women of such age to use smaller amount of meat.
