About Senna leaves

Often responses of persons which applied Senna leaves as laxative meet. Patients note that at correctly picked up dose it is possible to achieve a regular kashitseobrazny chair without abdominal pains and painful desires. Convenience of use of the tableted form or tea in bags is noted. In most cases the chair was recovered through 3-4 after administration of drug. Use of vegetable laxatives for children is accompanied by inconveniences which are connected with the fact that it is difficult to consider concentration of the operating antraglikozid therefore overdose and emergence of side effects is possible. At children tablets (Senadeksin, Tisasen) are more often used.

As for cases when Senna leaves were applied to weight loss, responses differ. Accepting broths and teas of leaves of Senna for the purpose of weight loss, women try to obtain ease of a chair, evacuation of food from intestines accelerates, and it is badly acquired. The plant does not influence a metabolism and results on weight reduction are doubtful what Internet users report about. As a rule, for this purpose drugs of Senna accept is long and is uncontrolled. Prolonged use attracts loss of electrolytes (potassium), emergence of erythrocytes and protein in urine, colitis with an atrophy of a mucous and muscular coat, adjournment of melanin in mucous intestines. It is necessary to consider that at long use emergence of a hepatotoxic and development of an atony of intestines with forming of a chronic usual lock is possible.
