Structure

In 1 tablet of Nimesulide of 100 mg and hydrochloride of dicyclomine of 20 mg. Starch corn, lactose, dicalcium phosphate, magnesium stearate, polyvinylpirrolidone, silicon dioxide, krakhmalglikolit sodium, talc as auxiliary components.

Pharmacodynamics

The combined drug having antiinflammatory, analgetic and spasmolytic effect. Nimesulide, inhibiting enzyme of synthesis of prostaglandins, provides analgeziruyushchy effect. Dicyclomine is a spasmolysant, the reducing spasm of muscles of a gastrointestinal tract.

Pharmacokinetics

At intake Nimesulide is well soaked up from a gastrointestinal tract. Its concentration in plasma is maximum is defined in 2-3 hours. Communication with proteins of 97,5%. It is metabolized in a liver to active agent of hydroxynimesulide. About 65% of Nimesulide are allocated with urine, other 35% – with a stake. Dicyclomine is also quickly soaked up, and concentration it in blood is reached in 1,5 hours. T1/2 makes 4–5 hours. It is removed mainly by urine (79%) and a stake.

Contraindications

Sigan, application instruction (Way and dosage)

Pill Sigan should be taken after food, with enough water. The recommended doses: adult 100 mg (1 tablet) 2 times a day, to children since 6 on 1/2 tablets 2 times a day. Duration of treatment is up to 15 days.

When developing gastric bleeding administration of drug is immediately stopped. Patients, whose activity is connected with special attention, need to know about a possibility of emergence of dizziness during administration of drug.

Overdose

Overdose appears drowsiness, nausea, block, pain in epigastriums and a lethargy. Bleeding, arterial hypertension, a renal failure, respiratory depression and a coma can be noted. Dicyclomine overdose at first is shown by excitement, concern, hallucinations, tachycardia, increase of the ABP. Excitement is replaced by oppression of TsNS. The antidote does not exist.

Interaction

At a concomitant use with acetylsalicylic acid, warfarin and other anticoagulants the risk of bleeding appears. To be careful at purpose of furosemide at patients with renal failures. Drug reduces clearance of drugs of lithium that increases its toxicity. In this regard it is necessary to control lithium level in blood. Sigan increases toxicity of a methotrexate and nephrotoxicity of cyclosporines.

Dicyclomine strengthens action of other holinoblokator (for example, Atropine) that has to be considered at their simultaneous use. Potentiation of effect is not observed at appointment with Digoxin, Glibenclamidum, theophylline, ranitidine or antacids.

Sigan's analogs

Structural analogs (with the same active agents): Alite, Nanogan, Nigan, Oksigan, Nimuspaz. Maksigan, Kombispazm, Baralginum, Baralgetas, Spazgan, Spazmalgon, Spazmalin have similar effect.

About Sigana

NPVS are well combined with medicines of other pharmacological groups which strengthen action of each other. Efficiency of the combined drugs Renalgan, Kombispazm, Nimuspaz, Spazmalgon containing in addition spasmolysants of various groups is well-known. Among these drugs it is possible to call also tablets Sigan. Judging by responses this drug was often used by patients at painful periods, tension headache, fractures and injuries, diseases of joints and for elimination of a dentagra.

At algodismery many women practiced preliminary reception of this drug in 2 days prior to the beginning of periods and the next 2–3 days. At such mode of reception of pain if appeared, then were expressed much more weakly.
