One vaginal tablet contains 250 mg of ascorbic acid as active agent.


  • 10 mg — methyl silicone;
  • 670 mg — monohydrate lactoses;
  • 60 mg — gipromelloza;
  • 10 mg — stearate magnesium.

Pharmacological action

Antiseptic and disinfecting.

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

The mechanism of effect of ascorbic acid consists in decrease rn vaginas and inhibition of growth of pathological bacteria.

In plasma the maximum concentration is observed 90 minutes later after use of one candle Vaginorm S.

The elimination half-life of drug makes 61 hour.

In insignificant quantity comes to a system blood stream.

It is removed with urine.

Indications to use

  • the recurrent, and also chronic vaginitis caused by presence of anaerobic bacteria (at the broken vagina pH);
  • normalization of earlier changed microflora of a vagina.


Medicine Vaginorm is contraindicated to C to use at individual hypersensitivity to drug ingredients, and also at a candidosis vulvovaginitis.

Side effects

Hypersensitivity to one of medicine ingredients is very seldom possible.

In case of heavy disturbances drug can be used for several weeks and even months daily.

There are no reliable data about overdose by Vaginorm S.


Reception of anticoagulants during therapy with use of Vaginorma-S can lead to decrease in their activity.

The concomitant use of salicylates stimulates removal of ascorbic acid, and estrogen increases its bioavailability.
