Valoserdin's structure:

• active agents: etilbromizovalerianat and phenobarbital;
• auxiliary components: peppermint oil, ethanol, marjoram oil, the purified water.

Drug has sedative and spasmolytic effect.

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

Means reduces heart rate. Effect of drug is caused by properties of its components.

Phenobarbital as active component of medicine, has sedative and soft somnolent effect. It reduces excitement of the central nervous system, increases sedative influence of other components and facilitates approach of a dream.

Etilbromizovalerianat acts as sedative and an antispasmodic.

Indications to Valoserdin's use

Indications to Valoserdin's use the following: neurosises, sleeplessness, arterial hypertension, tachycardia, irritability, cardialgia, spasm of coronary vessels, intestinal colic.

Contraindications

Medicine should not be taken at:

• hypersensitivity to drug components;
• porphyrias;
• feeding by a breast;
• problems with functions of a liver and kidneys;
• pregnancies;
• age till 18 flyings.

Besides, this means is contraindicated at liver diseases, craniocereberal injuries, alcoholism and diseases of a brain.

Side effects

Application instruction of drops of Valoserdin

The application instruction recommends to do those who accepts drops Valoserdin it before meal – till 15-30 drops 2-3 times a day. Medicine is intended for the internal use. The application instruction of Valoserdin also advises at tachycardia and vasospasms to raise a one-time dosage till 40-50 drops.

Overdose

If overdose small, is possible drowsiness, psychomotor disturbances, dizziness. High doses can lead to a coma, respiratory depression, a vascular collapse, lowering of arterial pressure, tachycardia, decrease in peripheral reflexes.

Overdose is treated by a gastric lavage and reception of absorbent carbon. It is necessary to call the doctor.

Interaction

If to combine this drug with other sedatives, and also with neuroleptics and tranquilizers, the effect amplifies. And TsNS stimulators, on the contrary, weaken action of components of drug.

It is not desirable to use phenobarbital jointly with means which split in a liver. Besides, drug weakens effect of derivatives of coumarin, griseofulvin, GKS and contraceptive means intended for intake.

That Corvalol or Valoserdin is better
