Structure

Each tablet (0.25 g) contains powdered skim milk, iodcasein (one-water Ca stearate + iodine) and monohydrate of lactose.

Release form

The medicine is issued the producer in the tableted look. In each blister there are 10 tablets. The cardboard pack contains the instruction from the producer and 4, 8 or 20 blisters with tablets.

Pharmacological action

Dietary supplement is intended for completion of deficit of a microelement of I. At iodic insufficiency the operating medicine component actively is acquired, and at surplus of a microelement – is removed, without getting into a thyroid gland. Such division is provided thanks to ability of a microelement of I to be chipped off from milk protein under the influence of the liver enzymes produced at iodic insufficiency. At enough a microelement specific enzymes are not produced, and the dietary supplement active agent is not soaked up in a blood stream, and removed in the natural way.

The microelement of I is necessary for production of hormones of a thyroid gland which take active part in regulation of metabolic processes (an exchange of fats, proteins and carbohydrates), in work of cardiovascular system, a nervous system, milk and the gonads influencing development and growth of the child.

Overdose

Prolonged use of high dosages of the I-containing drugs can lead to development of the iodinduced hyperthyroidism. In isolated cases big dosages of a microelement (more than 1000 mkg a day) can provoke development of a hypothyroidism or a craw. The clinical picture consists of the following symptoms:

  • diarrhea;
  • reflex vomiting;
  • coloring mucous in dark, brown color;
  • pains in epigastriums.

Therapy is directed to a gastric lavage by specially prepared solution consisting of protein, starch or Na thiosulphate solution in concentration of 5%. Posindromny therapy is directed to recovery of an electrolytic and water balance; if necessary antishock events are held.

At chronic intoxication cancellation of the I-containing drug is recommended.

Therapy of the I-induced hypothyroidism: purpose of hormones of a thyroid gland for the purpose of stabilization of a metabolism.

Therapy of the I-induced thyrotoxicosis: carrying out specialized thyreostatic therapy; soft forms of special treatment do not demand. At thyrocardiac crisis intensive treatment, a thyroidectomy and plazmoforez is carried out.

Interaction

It is not recommended to appoint the I-containing medicines during reception of tablets.
